Breaking Bad (2008) Tv series review

Chemically compelling with explosive scenes! Favourable conventions of the action genre.
This enticing series follows the day-to-day life struggles of New Mexico's lovable drug kingpin/school chemistry teacher, Walter White,(the protagonist), also known infamously by the alias - Heisenberg.

Loved a lot about this series, personally I thought it deviated itself amazingly from other series like - Prison Break and Orange is the New Black in terms of plot conventions. Couldn't help but love the complexity of most of the characters in the series and how they conformed to give meaning to the story, for instance, Jesse Pinkman (played by Aaron Paul) and Gus Fring (played by Giancarlo Esposito)

I loved this series a lot, easily near the top of my list, however, in comparison to other relevant TV series that also conform to the action genre I still favour Prison Break as my favourite.

I rate 4.5/5

Prison Break (2005) TV series review

A real gripping crime/action genre TV series which tensely watches over the shoulders of the low-latent inhibition inflicted Michael Scofield, (the protagonist) as we witness how the climax of desperation leads this one man to inconspicuously break out his brother, Lincoln Burrows, (the deteuragonist) from a high-state penitentiary known as Fox River in Illinois for allegedly murdering the vice president's brother.

Loved the entire series from start to finish; without a doubt my favourite TV series.
Complex characters and a compelling narrative which only augment my liking for the series even more.

I'd rate it 5/5.
